January 2012 PLANT CONSTRUCTION: Crossover is leaving workshop

The Crossover is a raw gas channel for a refinery in North Rhine-Westphalia manufactured by Röhrs AG in its workshop in Soltau. It is needed as part of the filter for flue gas cleaning. Two channels are hereby joined  together and can be switched on demand into a bypass channel. For transport the 13 tons heavy Crossover has been loaded in Soltau by the aid of two indoor cranes onto a heavy haulage with wide load to erect it at least on site.
