November 2009 Sector plant construction producing Y-pipe for converter gas utilisation

The steel mill Arcelor Mittal in Bremen, as longtime client of Röhrs AG, gave an order for production and erection of a Y-pipe for utilisation of converter gas.

Connected with a compressor, the Y-pipe build the connection between inlet tube and compressor with two rectangle flanges.

The Y-pipe has a total weight of approx. 3,2 tons. It has been manufactured in several parts in the workshop in Soltau and  transported to Bremen for erection on site.
