January 2012 TANK CONSTRUCTION: Röhrs AG working for building material industry

A concrete factory ordered Röhrs AG with the replacement of a 6-chamber-silo in their concrete mixing plant. For this purpose an exact measurement of the existing silo has been executed firstly. Production than has been made in several components to enable that the new silo must only be bolt together later on site.

The transport to site of the silo, with a diameter of 6000 mm and a total weight of 18 tons, has also been coordinated by Röhrs AG.

After arrival on site and after screwing together its components, the silo is lifted on its position by a RÖHRS crane. A skilled team of RÖHRS executes disassembly of the old silo as well as erection of the new silo on site including isolation and covering.
