May 2008 Fibrous filter for a power plant in Korbach

The fibrous filter to clean flue gas of a power plant in Korbach is now near completion.

The filter ordered by Graf-Wulff GmbH Rosbach, has a height of 18 metres and a total weight of 115 tons. The completion was made in separate components each weighing up to 6 tons, which are directly mounted and gas-proof welded by Röhrs AG on the site in Korbach.

In this power plant filter the flue gas is conducted through about 1000 filter hoses of a length of 7,5 m and are hereby extricated from their residues. Compressed-air cleaning blows the residues for removal in the subjacent discharge tubes.
