For that purpose the 30 Meter figure made out of steel skeleton and fibreglass has been separated at waist height from its buttom part and has been removed by a crane of RÖHRS Kranverleih GmbH to be transported right away to its new home. Few doubts of project manager Thorsten Berwald, that parts of this high-quality design construction could be damaged during the repositioning, have not become true, thanks to the precision work of the skilled crane operators of RÖHRS. With the next steps during the following course of construction, the upper third of the Statue of Liberty weighing 11,5 tons will be revised accurately, so that there are no obstacles for the first drive with Colossos - now passing Miss Liberty - at the beginning of the new season 2012.
