January 2009 New gas cutting area formed in 2008

In September 2008 Röhrs AG invested in a new gas cutting area and enlarged the business activities of the department of plant and apparatus construction.

The additional capacity won hereby offers any more flexibility for the implementation of  customer requirements.

The plasma and autogenous oxygen cutting machine was installed in a new segment of the workshop. It disposes of a cut width of 3 m and can work steel plates on a track of 13 m. Sheets with a thickness up to 250 mm can be cut.

The plant is charged directly by DXF-Files from the CAD construction department. It can be operated autogenously by the aid of twin burners.
